A heavy frost was reported in some areas of the province overnight Sunday. It is unknown what kind of damage these low temperatures may have had to the province’s tender fruit and apple crops or any unprotected vegetable plants out in the field.
It's expected the current cold night temperatures will continue overnight on May 11 and May 12.
