Frost kills 30 per cent of Ont. tomato crop

May 28, 2013, Leamington, Ont – Ontario tomato farmers are trying to calculate the total cost of damage frost did to their crops on the weekend.

One Leamington area farmer estimates the damage to be between 10 and 30 per cent.

Asparagus, cucumbers, zucchini and green beans were also affected by the frost. READ MORE
