Two new potato varieties unveiled

February 24, 2014, Bangor, ME – Two new potato varieties, developed for the French fry and potato chip industries, were recently unveiled by the Maine Potato Board and the University of Maine.
The two varieties – Easton and Sebec – were developed over the past 10 years in the Roger Clapp Greenhouses at UMaine with support from the Maine Potato Board. READ MORE
