OMAFRA: Ontario vegetable crop pest update

The Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs’ (OMAFRA’s) vegetable crop team has released a report on the status of many of the province’s vegetable crops as of July 29. Continued high moisture in parts of the province mean increased risk and incidence of mildews and rots. Growers are advised to scout for diseases and insect pests like western bean cutworm, two-spotted spider mites and cabbage aphid. |READ MORE
