OMAFRA’s first weekly vegetable crop report now available

The Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA) has posted its first weekly vegetable crop report for the 2021 growing season. Detailing weather and crop conditions as of June 3, the report also highlights pest pressures and methods for tracking and mitigating them. Of particular concern at the moment are Colorado potato beetle (CPB) emergence, leek moth, cutworm and wireworm. The report also contains a regional breakdown by county. |READ MORE
