Past winners have included a B.C. fruit and vegetable snack program that teaches children about the food they eat, an active 4-H member in Alberta, and a Manitoba company that discovered an innovative way to produce Omega-3 pork for human consumption, among many others over the past seven years.
Winners will be recognized at a luncheon at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair in Toronto in November. Nominations close September 15, 2008.
