September 5, 2008, Charlottetown, P.E.I. – The deadline for submissions to the World Potato Congress Industry Awards is fast approaching.
To insure that deserving individuals are recognized, applications should be completed and forwarded soon.
The World Potato Congress awards recognize lifetime contributions from individuals to the potato industry. Typically, four outstanding individuals are recognized during the awards presentation ceremony, held at the tri-annual congress.
The next congress will be held in Christchurch, New Zealand, in March 2009.
Written nominations are invited for submission. The application form and submission instructions appear on the World Potato Congress website. Applications close on October 31st 2008. All submissions will be acknowledged.
The awards committee will assess all written applications and make appropriate recommendations to the WPC board.
