May 30, 2013, New Ross, NS – Muwin Estate Wines Ltd. recently received a $150,000 loan from the federal government to support its expansion.

“Since production started two years ago, we have experienced immense success in exporting to international markets”, said Dominic Rivard, executive director and co-owner of Muwin Estate Wines Ltd. “With the government’s assistance, we will be able to meet current and future demands as well as keep a competitive edge by expanding into new markets such as parts of the United States and Asia.”

A repayable investment from the federal government, provided through Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA), is supporting the expansion of the company’s facility in New Ross. The investment will also support the purchase of new equipment that will help the company fulfill its increasing export demand for products launched last summer.
