Comox Valley winery wins international awards

May 23, 2013, Comox Valley, BC – A small Comox Valley winery is proving that British Columbia’s best wines aren’t always synonymous with the more established wineries of the Okanagan Valley.

The Beaufort Vineyard and Estate Winery, owned and operated by Susan and Jeff Vandermolen and opened in 2008, recently brought home 27 medals from three separate competitions: the International Wine Challenge in London, England, the All Canadian Wine Championships, in Windsor, Ont., and the NorthWest Wine Summit in Hood River, Ore.
