Carrot plant closing in NS

November 6, 2015, Hillaton, N.S. – About 50 full-time jobs will be lost in Kings County with the decision to shut down a carrot plant in Hillaton, says John Lohr, Kings North MLA.

Hillaton Foods Limited is a division of Oxford Frozen Foods and primarily processes and freezes carrots, which are marketed within North America. Oxford has operated the company for the past 20 years. READ MORE
