Ron Evans with the National Research Council (NRC) will be on hand to explain the Industrial Research Assistance Program (IRAP), which can help accelerate the growth of businesses. The program has been designed to financially assist businesses to successfully commercialize in the global marketplace.

Jim Wheeler of the Wheeler Group will also explain how businesses can leverage scientific research and experimental development (SR&ED) tax credits to lift the burden of funding research and development initiatives.

Rebecca Bourque, director of strategic accounts and business development with Mitacs, will also be on hand to review her company’s Accelerate and Elevate programs, which can assist with resource funding. The program allows post doctorate and graduate students an opportunity to apply their expertise while advancing research.
