In this 60-minute webinar, Hannah Fraser, entomologist with the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs will discuss aphids and how they impact tree fruits in Canada. Fraser will provide an overview of basic aphid biology, including reproduction, as it relates to time, seasonal movement and buildup in crops. She will also discuss plant-aphid interactions, direct and indirect injury, integrated pest management and biological control, common problem species as well as insecticide groups targeting aphids, registered in Canada, in context of resistance management.
