Vineland receives finiancial boost from province

The Vineland Research and Innovation Centre received a $12.5 million
financial boost with the Ontario government’s recent budget
announcement.
March 28, 2008; Vineland, Ont. – The Vineland Research and Innovation Centre received a $12.5 million financial boost with the Ontario government’s recent budget announcement.
This investment compliments the support provided in 2007 and brings Ontario’s total contribution to the centre to $25 million.
“We are absolutely thrilled with this investment,” said Donald Ziraldo, chair of Vineland’s board of directors. “Thanks to the leadership and continued support shown by the Ontario government, we are now well on the way to revitalizing Vineland as a world class horticultural research hub.”
Vineland’s vision is to create a world-class research institution and international hub for horticulture and ornamentals research, innovation and commercialization.
