There’s a new economical and efficient tractor on the market, the Valtra A Series, which features three models in the 70 to 100 hp power range, a tight turning radius and a front/rear weight ratio ideal for loader balance. Their low weight-to-power ratio makes them ideal for use in areas where soil compaction is an issue. The A Series features the turbocharged SisuDiesel™ engine, which provides 74 engine hp for the 3-cylinder A75, 88 engine hp for the 4-cylinder A85 and 98 engine hp for the A95. The tractor also offers a tight turning radius and a 12F and 12R transmission that is fully synchronized for smooth changes in speed and direction. All three models are equipped with mechanical forward and reverse shuttle and are available with a push-button clutch control and left or right hand placement of the shuttle lever. The A Series is available in two-wheel drive and with mechanical front-wheel drive. Electro hydraulic MFWD activation is standard and the rear differential lock can be engaged and disengaged with the flick of a switch. The ride is comfortable with air ride seats, and customers can choose from three cab designs, all with excellent visibility and reduced noise level engineering.
