The state of succession planning across Canada

Fruit and Vegetable magazine is joining with Annex Business Media’s other agriculture publications to conduct a survey to gain a better understanding of the future of Canadian farming.

Is your farming career just beginning, or coming to an end? What are your plans for the future of the farm? What resources do you need to make better decisions in terms of your farming future?

The survey aims to provide information that will help answer these questions. The answers will be used to compile a report of the state of farm succession in Canada.

By participating in this 10-minute survey, respondents will help paint a better picture of what the agricultural landscape across sectors – from poultry to horticulture to field crops – will look like. The information will be shared during our Succession Planning month this summer, and will help producers see what are the trends in succession planning.

At the end of the survey, respondents will have the option of entering contact information for a chance to win a $500 cash prize. However, due to the sensitive nature of succession, this survey can also be completed anonymously.
