VT – Thousands of pumpkins floated down the Connecticut River over the weekend
after heavy rains swept them into the water.

VT – Thousands of pumpkins floated down the Connecticut River over the weekend
after heavy rains swept them into the water.
The pumpkins came from
Newmont Farm in Vermont. Margaret Gladstone of Newmont Farm said most of them
had been picked and were awaiting transport when they were washed away.
Gladstone estimated that about 100,000 pumpkins were swept away.
