
Researchers in Arkansas recently discovered a population of glufosinate-resistant Palmer amaranth. The weed already exhibits five-way resistance in some instances, so the loss of another chemical mode of action leaves limited control options.
While Palmer amaranth hasn’t been found in Canada yet, it is on the watch list for many weed scientists. The weed likely won’t thrive in a Canadian climate as it does south of the border, but its ability to adapt makes it dangerous. |READ MORE
