SOLO 129 HS Hedge Trimmer

May 15, 2008  By SOLO Inc.

There’s no need to use a ladder to trim high hedges with the new SOLO 129 HS model hedge trimmer from SOLO, Inc. By simply setting the adjustable cutting blade to the required angle, contractors, farmers, commercial operators and homeowners can achieve an exact trim no matter how high or low the hedge may be.

The unit is powered by a SOLO 29cc
displacement, two-cycle gas engine, and its unique adjusting gear
offers a 135-degree operating range with enough adjustment
possibilities to find the optimum working angle for both cutter and
handle. The trimmer’s ease of operation becomes clear from the moment
you start the engine, beginning with the SOLO easy-start system in
which a steady, light tug tensions the spring and starts the motor. The
129 HS model also features a comfortable anti-vibration system with
loop handlebars and a 21-inch- (536-mm-) long cutting blade. It weighs
less than 14 pounds (6.2 kg), has a half-litre tank capacity and
features a three-shoe clutch with plates.
