company will be the exclusive marketer and distributor for the
insecticides Ambush 500EC and Ambush 50EC for the Canadian market.
August 1, 2009, Guelph, Ont. – Engage Agro recently announced the company will be the exclusive marketer and distributor for the insecticides Ambush 500EC and Ambush 50EC for the Canadian market.
“We are very excited to work with AMVAC to promote Ambush,” said Tom Tregunno, Engage Agro product manager. “We are committed to working with AMVAC to develop Ambush and to continue meeting the needs of Canadian growers.”
Ambush, which is registered for use on more than 40 crops in Canada and the U.S., is a proven insecticide that contains the active ingredient permethrin. Permethrin is neurotoxic to target insects and stops the pests from damaging crops. The mode of action of permethrin is specific to insects and when applied following label directions, its use does not pose a threat to human health or the environment.
