expand its production, creating jobs, and strengthening the local economy.

With $2,448,825 in support
from Ontario’s Rural Economic Development Program, Ready Bake Foods (a Weston
Foods subsidiary) is moving to a newly renovated state-of-the-art facility
within the city. The new facility will help the business to operate more
efficiently and produce new product lines.
This investment will
create up to 60 new jobs and retain 90 skilled positions. It will also support
the region’s farmers and manufacturers by generating greater demand for local
products.
