Prairie fruit logo wins award

March 25, 2013 – The Prairies are typically known for grains and cattle – not fresh fruit. The Canadian Prairie Fruit Federation is hoping that will change with a brand that was created to promote Prairie fruit products.

The Prairie Fruit brand recently received an award from the Canadian Agri-Marketing Association.

The brand contains elements that stress the fruit is local, tasty, and has the words Prairie Fruit on a strawberry emblem.
