“We have been experiencing continuous growth in our specialty potato programs,” he said. “The consumer response continues to be remarkable. We are surprised how passionate people are about some of the new products. They send their responses in by email, from our website, telling us how much they love the potatoes, how they tell their friends and family about their new discovery, and they often tell how they prepare them. Their only complaint is that they can't always find them, so that's our goal, to help them find them all year long, in every store.”

MacKay and Hughes is one of North America’s leading potato distributors, with strategic alliances with growers throughout North America, and joint ventures with Potandon LLC of Idaho Falls, in several states.
