Charlottetown, P.E.I., October 1, 2008 – Compensation being offered by the Prince Edward Island government is too low says the P.E.I. Potato Board.

According to a report by the CBC, board directors met with the province September 29 to discuss compensation amounts. The next day, potato board chair Kevin MacIsaac announced the directors were not impressed with the amount, adding it was “a bit on the low side.”
