In a recent research poll commissioned by two Canadian senators, eight out of ten Canadians support (to some degree) providing a way for temporary foreign workers (TFWs) to stay in Canada.
Senators Ratna Omidvar and Rob Black note that TFWs are essential to the well-being and safety of Canada’s food chain. The COVID-19 has starkly shown this. Providing permanent residency options, therefore, is in Canada’s best interests and the humane way forward. |READ MORE
