Aug. 26, 2009, Guelph, Ont. – Engage Agro is pleased to announce that Opal Insecticidal Soap, from OMEX Agriculture Inc., is now OMRI Certified and can now be used in organic vegetable and fruit production.
Opal is made from the potassium salts of fatty acids and is registered to control a number of insects including aphids, whiteflies, and spider-mites. Opal can be used in Greenhouse Ornamental, Greenhouse Vegetable, Outdoor Ornamental, Tree Fruit, and Field Vegetable production.
