OMAFRA
is here to help keep producers up to date on the latest food safety practices. Producers can join these no charge, online workshops from the comfort of their home or
business. All they need is access to the Internet and a phone connection.

Pre and Post Harvest Water Use
– Tuesday, February 14, 10:30 am – 12:00 pm (noon)

Did you
know that water can carry germs from dirty produce to clean produce? A pre and
post harvest water use program is an important step in reducing risks. During
this workshop, risks will be evaluated and there will be discussion involving how to construct and monitor a
water-sanitizing program.
