OMAFRA: Drone pesticide application

Interested in learning more about using a drone to spray pesticide? Jason Deveau, application technology specialist with the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA), has created a resource on the use of Remote Piloted Aerial Systems (RPAS; commonly referred to as drones) for pesticide application.

At the time his article was written, there are no liquid pest control products registered for application by drone in Canada. However, two restricted-use granular microbials intended for larval mosquito control were expanded to include drone application in the fall of 2022. |READ MORE
