Apple orchard farm tour added to FarmFood360

August 5, 2019  By Farm & Food Care Ontario

Three new 360° virtual reality tours of an apple orchard and both a free range and free run egg farm have been added to the FarmFood360.ca website, thanks to partnerships with Burnbrae Farms Ltd. and CropLife Canada.

Each project features both a 360° virtual reality tour of the farm and several traditional videos showcasing various aspects of the farms and farm businesses. Video topics range from the important role that Seasonal Agricultural Workers play on Canadian apple farms, to how an expert in animal behavior and welfare helps farmers ensure they’re providing the best quality care to hens across Canada. They can be viewed at www.FarmFood360.ca

FarmFood360° virtual reality technology gives Canadians access to immersive tours of working farms and food processing plants, all without leaving their homes or classrooms. These videos are in high demand from teachers, clubs, and agricultural societies. A 360° tour and four traditional videos from a pork farm are set to be released later this summer.
