Siegers Seed Company recently announced that Ernie Szucs has joined the company’s team of seed consultants. He will be available to help commercial growers in Ontario, focusing on Southern Ontario.
Ernie has a wealth of experience in virtually all areas of agriculture. He was born, raised, and work on his family’s tobacco farm in Norfolk County. In 1990 he became a share-grower and in 1995 purchased the farm and became sole owner. An experienced farmer, Ernie has grown tobacco, watermelon, pumpkin, sweet corn, peppers, tomatoes and cantaloupes.
