New business director at DuPont Canada

– E. I. du Pont Canada Company recently announced the appointment of
Priscila Vansetti as business director for DuPont Crop Protection –
Canada.

October 6, 2008, Mississauga, Ont. – E. I. du Pont Canada Company recently announced the appointment of Priscila Vansetti as business director for DuPont Crop Protection – Canada.

Vansetti replaced past business director Thor Cruse.

As business director, Vansetti will be responsible for the DuPont Canada Crop Protection Business. She will also become a member of the DuPont Canada leadership team, which is responsible for developing synergies across DuPont’s operations in Canada, and for growing DuPont’s presence in Canada. She will be based in Mississauga, Ont.

Vansetti brings extensive crop protection experience to the Canadian marketplace. She joined DuPont Brazil in 1981 and held various positions in regulatory and government affairs as well as research and development in Brazil and then in the United States. She went on to become strategic planning manager for the U.S. crop protection business. Most recently, Vansetti has been a six sigma master black belt for the crop protection business, where her team was responsible for launching new products. She holds a bachelor of science in agricultural engineering from the University of São Paulo in Brazil.
