mf_ztr_mowers_photoMassey Ferguson has introduced new zero-turn mowers. Powered by heavy-duty three-cylinder liquid-cooled diesel engines, the new Massey Ferguson ZT29 and ZT33 mowers are designed to deliver peak performance under strenuous operating conditions. Operator platforms on the new Massey Ferguson commercial mowers are designed for operator comfort and convenience. A high-back deluxe seat is adjustable for operator size and includes armrests and seat belt. Standard ROPS provides operator safety, and folds down 90 degrees so the mower can be driven into a garage or enclosed trailer. Comfort grip steering levers control forward and reverse at each drive wheel, through the mowers’ hydrostatic drive systems, giving the operator excellent maneuverability for close-in mowing around trees, beds and landscape obstacles. A control knob at the operator’s right hand engages and disengages the cutting decks with a simple twist of the knob. Hand control of deck height adjustment is located conveniently beside the seat. The hydraulic deck lift lever also is in the right-hand console, near the throttle control lever. The new ZT29 (29 hp) and ZT33 (33 hp) mowers are available with a choice of 60-inch or 72-inch cutting decks, plus a high volume 72-inch deck with extra deep tunnel for faster cutting through heavy or wet grass. The zero-turn mowers come with a built-in jack that lifts the deck up to a 45 degree angle at the front for convenient clean-out, blade changes or service.
