$65-million potato processing plant in this small town in early
September.
September 10, 2008, Florenceville-Bristol, N.B. – McCain Foods officially opened its new, $65-million potato processing plant in this small town in early September.
The plant, announced in 2006 and started in 2007, replaces the first factory every built by the company, more than 50 years ago.
According to a recent article in the Bugle-Observer, based in Woodstock, N.B., the ceremonies were attended by local provincial and federal government representatives, company officials plus McCain Foods employees past and present.
