September 15, 2010 – More than 60 people came out to participate in Alberta’s second 2010 fruit and vegetable field day.

September 15, 2010 – More than 60 people came out to participate in Alberta’s second 2010 fruit and vegetable field day.

People came from far and wide (some as far as five or six hours away) and represented a wide diversity of experience levels. The weather was hospitable (the rain stayed away during the event) and lunch was plentiful and provided through Growing Forward funding.

There were lots of great conversations going on throughout the day, with lots of excellent information shared by knowledgeable and generous hosts (Grace Fedak and Marvin & Elaine Gill) and by the various participants.
