Kam’s Growers Supply adds new faces to their team

Kam’s Growers Supply has shaken up their personnel line-up in the last few months.

Kierryn Keeton has joined the Kam’s Growers Supply team as an agronomist as of Dec. 7. She brings with her the knowledge and experience acquired through a MSc. from Rhodes University, South Africa, and working as a senior agronomist at Sundays River Citrus Company.

This fall, Melissa McLean joined Kam’s Kingsville location as a technical sales representative, bringing her horticultural experience and IPM expertise. Other changes at Kam’s Kingsville include the promotion of Jamie Prior to Kingsville operations manager, after a successful stint as a sales rep.

Hailey Ashbee joined the Kam’s team as a technical sales representative in January 2021. Hailey is a masters of environmental science graduate (University of Guelph, 2019) with a focus on entomology and has since been busy working with some notable Niagara growers doing integrated pest management. Hailey will primarily cover the Niagara region.

Steve Droog, a Kam’s sales rep since 2009, will maintain selected accounts in Niagara that he has cultivated through the years but will transition others to Hailey. Steve’s role will be expanded into the nursery market sector, providing sales support to most of the Ontario nursery accounts.

Serge Leclair will focus on existing and new Quebec customers. Serge continues to grow the Quebec territory offering comprehensive support on the use of bios, fertilizer, plant growth regulators and crop protection products. Serge will still be involved with the nursery industry and continue his work with Landscape Ontario and selected nursery accounts in Ontario.
