John Deere 2013 4-H scholarship winners announced

Sept. 13, 2013, Ottawa, ON – The Canadian 4-H Council has announced the 15 recipients of the 2013 John Deere Canada 4-H Scholarships. Each 4-H member will receive $2,000 each towards their post-secondary education this fall. The funding for these scholarships was made possible by John Deere Canada and the participating dealerships’ commitment of $30,000 to support post-secondary education of 4-H students.

“John Deere Canada and our many dealers have been long-time supporters of 4-H clubs in local communities across the country,” said Jason Tucker, manager of John Deere’s Agricultural & Turf business in Canada. “As part of the organizations 100th anniversary, we are proud to provide scholarships that will help further the education of our next generation of community and business leaders.”

The following 4-H youth will receive a 2013 John Deere Canada 4-H Scholarship, thanks to John Deere Canada and the participation of specific dealerships:
