appointed Engage Agro the exclusive distributor and marketer of Impact corn
herbicide in Canada.
Impact is a post emergence HPPD (Group 27) herbicide for
control of emerged broadleaf and grass weeds in field, seed and sweet corn.

“With the increasing awareness of weed resistance, Impact is an ideal tank mix partner for managing those
tough-to-control weeds or those weeds that may have developed herbicide
resistance,” says Bob Hamilton, Engage Agro’s row crop product manager.
Impact is typically tank mixed with atrazine in
conventional corn varieties to provide burn down of various broadleaf weeds and
annual grasses. In glyphosate-tolerant fields, Impact is commonly tank mixed
with glyphosate and atrazine to provide both rapid burn down and overall
improved weed control over glyphosate alone.
