The H.J. Heinz plant is cutting production of its tomato products by 30
per cent in the wake of an arbitrator's ruling which raised the price
the company must pay growers.
Aug. 26, 2009 – The H.J. Heinz plant is cutting production of its tomato products by 30
per cent in the wake of an arbitrator's ruling which raised the price
the company must pay growers.

The production cut means the Leamington plant will still produce all
the Heinz ketchup sold in Canada, but ketchup it used to export to the
