Hydroponic strawberry production webinar Oct. 19

October 7, 2015, Edmonton, Alta – The next HortSnacks-to-Go webinar takes place at 3 p.m. MDT on October 19, 2015, and features a presentation by Dr. Chieri Kubota and Mark Kroggel from the University of Arizona on hydroponic strawberry production.

“Long popular in Japan and Europe, hydroponic strawberry production has largely been ignored in North America,” says Dustin Morton, commercial horticulture specialist with Alberta Agriculture and Forestry (AF). “Chieri and Mark are looking to change this with their research and will discuss some of what they’ve discovered along the way.”
