Grimsby biodigester passes last major milestone

December 23, 2015, Grimsby, Ont — Grimsby Energy’s one megawatt biodigester has passed its last major milestone.

Late last month, Grimsby Energy Inc. met the milestone for commercial operation and produced its first two megawatts of renewable energy from grape pumice. Much work has taken place at the Sobie Road site since ground was turned in early June, 59 months to the date the energy entity announced it was forging ahead with the project. READ MORE
