Despite the fact the Liberal government is working overtime to
convince British Columbians that the Harmonized Sales Tax is a sweet deal for
consumers and industry, some
agriculturalists have expressed a little less enthusiasm over the fruits of
their labour.

convince British Columbians that the Harmonized Sales Tax is a sweet deal for
consumers and industry, some
agriculturalists have expressed a little less enthusiasm over the fruits of
their labour.
According to Steve
Thomson, B.C. MLA for Kelowna-Mission and Minister of Agriculture and Lands, the HST will amount to a $15- to
$16-million advantage to the agricultural industry.
