Cold temperatures over the Thanksgiving weekend sent some
grape growers running into the vineyards to pick fruit in case more frosty
weather strikes.

Catharines, Ont. – Cold temperatures over the Thanksgiving weekend sent some
grape growers running into the vineyards to pick fruit in case more frosty
weather strikes.
The mercury plummeted to
-3°C in parts of Niagara late Oct. 11 and into the early morning of Oct. 12,
causing some frost damage to grapevine leaves.
