FireFly Energy, a division of Ag Energy Co-operative, is now offering natural gas contracts in British Columbia. Licensed by the British Columbia Utilities Commission, FireFly contracts will be available to Terasen Gas customers. FireFly was created in Ontario to offer a
no-pressure, informational and honest approach to selling natural gas. FireFly does not go door-to-door or telemarket and intends to continue with this philosophy in the B.C. market. In addition to the security and stability of a fixed price contract, FireFly’s natural gas is environmentally friendly. People and businesses can become carbon-neutral when using
natural gas, allowing them to make a choice that results in a positive difference in the world. FireFly helps its natural gas customers become carbon-neutral by investing in initiatives that reduce carbon dioxide. These projects include generating renewable energy using solar, conservation projects, tree-planting initiatives, and the capturing and sequestering of carbon dioxide in enhanced oil recovery.
