Just-In Case Fire announces the general availability of Fire Caddy DC™, a 12-volt portable fire pump. Fire Caddy DC is an innovative first response fire suppression system, effective on all Class A/B fires. Fire Caddy DC is ideal for use in mobile applications on vehicles of all kinds, in residential and commercial buildings, or on all job sites. Powered by a 12-volt battery to ensure uninterrupted operation, the system uses an independent water supply. Using any ready source of water, including a pond, stream, swimming pool or a self-contained water tank, the Fire Caddy DC provides in excess of six minutes of extended fire fighting performance. The high pressure of its patent pending induction system allows fires to be fought from a distance of greater than 30 feet. The basic Fire Caddy DC can be adapted to many configurations for any application. The mobile models have many variations, including some with a self-contained water supply, and were designed for applications such as construction machinery, emergency response vehicles, forestry apparatus, or anywhere that a threat of fire exists and immediate access to traditional fire fighting equipment is not available. Available models include the “job box,” and the skid and logging apparatus. Fire Caddy DC is also available in a residential model for connection to your hot water tank. This fixed stationary model can be used to protect residences, recreation properties, barns, warehouses, and commercial establishments. Homeowners and business owners with the Fire Caddy DC are uniquely positioned to protect their property safely and cost effectively and provide emergency egress.
