Sciences Symposium (ESS) hosted by University of Guelph students.

Ont. – Agriculture will be the theme of this year’s 18th annual Environmental
Sciences Symposium (ESS) hosted by University of Guelph students.
The “Environmental Outlook
on Agriculture: A Public Perspective” symposium will be held Jan. 21 in the
Science Complex Atrium at the university. The sessions run from 9 to 5:30 p.m.
ESS is a student-run,
non-profit event.
This year’s symposium
features a number of lectures and workshops by speakers from a variety of
backgrounds including science, social studies and industry. Some 200 attendees are
expected, including academics, students and members of the community.
Admission is $10, and
includes coffee, snacks and lunch. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m.
