Dry weather could impact P.E.I. blueberry yield

August 17, 2012, Tignish, PEI — The dry, hot summer could negatively impact the overall blueberry yield for Prince Edward Island producers.

Recent rain was a welcome sight for the province’s blueberry growers but the dry weather that preceded it, coupled with frost damage last spring, will likely result in fewer pounds of blueberries for producers. READ MORE
