February 18, 2015, Edmonton, Alta – The annual Alberta Farm Fresh School has been running for more than 25 years and features sessions geared to learning about direct market production and marketing, as well as connecting with producer peers and experts.

Rob Spencer, commercial horticulture specialist at the Alberta Ag-Info Centre in Stettler, adds that this year’s edition is set for February 26-27, 2015 at the Pomeroy Inn & Suites in Olds on the Olds College campus.

“Take in a session on the ins and outs of value-adding and connecting with restaurants with unique products,” he says. “Come and learn about government program options, working with the media, being more efficient in your farm operation and learn about food safety from leading experts.”
