Kennie of Kennie’s Strawberry Farm in North Kentville says the wet spring and
cool temperatures mean it’s been a great year.

the situation isn’t so rosy in Manitoba, where as many as seven you-picks are
still under water due to flooding.
Flooding
from the Assiniboine River means the berry buckets are empty for the first time
in 20 years at the Blue Diamond Berry Farm west of Winnipeg.
