B.C. Fruit Growers Association president Joe Sardinha was among the attendees and brought forward concerns from his members with the complexity of the Agri-stability program and the timeliness of payments under the safety net program.

There was also discussion of Product of Canada labelling, food safety, the re-plant assistance program, crop insurance and pesticide registration issues.
