BASF appoints new business director for Canada

BASF has appointed Ted Bonertz as
business director for its Canadian agricultural products business. In
this role, Bonertz will be responsible for the complete BASF portfolio
of herbicides, fungicides, seed treatments and specialty products.
BASF has appointed Ted Bonertz as business director for its Canadian agricultural products business. In this role, Bonertz will be responsible for the complete BASF portfolio of herbicides, fungicides, seed treatments and specialty products. Prior to this appointment, Bonertz was director of global strategic marketing for herbicides with BASF in Raleigh, North Carolina. Bonertz has significant international experience having also served as general manager for BASF agricultural operations in Australia and New Zealand and as marketing manager for international herbicides with American Cyanamid, one of the BASF legacy companies. A graduate of the University of Saskatchewan and the Ivey Business School, Bonertz is originally from Pincher Creek, Alberta where he grew up on a mixed farming operation. In his role as business director, Ted will be responsible for all aspects of the Canadian agricultural products business including research, regulatory, logistics, production, distribution, marketing and sales.
