Astronaut digs P.E.I. potatoes

November 4, 2014, Charlottetown, PEI – Digging potatoes may not be rocket science, but Hans Wilting and his family were happy to let Canadian astronaut Col. Chris Hadfield join in the harvest recently at Linden Lee Farms, in Meadowbank.

The potato growers of Prince Edward Island were a presenting sponsor of Col. Hadfield’s “Out of this World” lecture at the Confederation Centre of the Arts in Charlottetown on Oct. 30th and arranged for the farm experience. READ MORE
